Creative and traditional Oriental Music

Majlis Trio is located at the intersection of the routes of the Orient: between the rivers of the Bosphorus and the Euphrates, the Black Sea and the Red Sea, the valleys of the Caucasus and the Pelopponese, straddling classical music and music for dance.

Come closer, come closer and you will hear!

Your wandering ears will delight in the warm and tender sound of the oud, the lament of the viola or the passion of the violin, urged on by the wild beats of the derbouka.

Drawing on the beautiful melodies of the traditional oriental repertoires, the trio creates music where inventiveness and arrangements take pride of place. The result is a real dialogue between the musicians where one by one they unveil themselves in intoxicating improvisations.
